It is with a heavy heart that we write to you today to inform you that La Cuisine is closing after 38 years in business. We have had an amazing run in the food and service industry and we thought La Cuisine would be here for 38 more. However, lingering questions about COVID-19, the resulting business climate, and regulatory challenges have made our future too uncertain to continue. Ultimately we have decided that our two most important assets, who are 5 and 8 years old, need our utmost care and focus during these challenging times.
You, our amazing customers, and our incredible and talented team, have made this journey possible and we will truly miss each and every one of you. Over the years, we have seen tears of joy, tears of sadness, and every other emotion in between. One thing has remained constant and kept us all connected and that was amazing food and exemplary service. It was such a pleasure to have had the opportunity to be a part of so many people’s lives. We will truly cherish those memories and hope for a bright future where joy, laughter, and the enjoyment from gathering and eating great food can once again be an everyday occurrence. From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you for all that you have done.
The Café & Market will be open for Lunch & Dinner to Go as well as weekly Prepared Foods through Friday, June 12. We invite you to stop by for curbside pickup until our last day on June 12. Can I still use my gift cards?
Yes! Please feel free to redeem your gift cards through Friday, June 12. Please note that we are not able to accept gift cards using online ordering. Please call the Café number: 203-488-7779 Wednesday – Saturday to place a Lunch or Dinner to Go order using a gift card. Please call the main office number: 203-488-7100 to place a Prepared Foods order using a gift card.
If I have a future event booked with you, what will happen?
We have been in touch directly with clients who have booked events and all deposits will be returned. For those clients who are interested, we will work with them to transition to another caterer.
How can I show my support?
